All rules on withdrawal from examinations are stated in §8 of the applicable examination regulations. ....
" With the exception of the master’s thesis, candidates can, without giving a reason, withdraw their registration
for module examinations up to one week before the examination date."

In case you cannot attend an examination due to illness, it is obligatory to
- Inform your examiner as soon as possible before the time of the examination. Please send them an e-mail via your official university e-mail account. The e-mail should include the following information: your full name, matriculation number, study programme, name and number of the module/course as well as the date of the examination.

Certificate Upload
(Please, see also: Instructions for certificate upload).Please, note that the certificate must be obtained immediately, generally no later than the day of the exam. Furthermore, the upload is only possible from within the university network. If you try to get the access outside the university´s network, A VPN connection may be necessary (Please, see: Information about VPN Access). The certificate you upload will automatically reach the responsible administrative staff.
The examination board of your study programme decides about granting or denying the certificate.
In case it is granted, the withdrawal will be recorded in StudiLöwe. In case the withdrawal is denied, you will receive a written statement.
The form for Prolongation of Stay will be provided to the student physically by mail from the Wuppertal Migration Office
